NOTICE OF DEED RESTRICTIONS: The undersigned unde�stands that this permit may be subject to"deed"restrictions"
which may be more restrictive than County regulations. The ndersigned assumes responsibility for compliance with any
applicable deed restrictions.
UNLICENSED CONTRACTORS AND CONTRACTOR RE PONSIBILITIES: if the owner has hired a contractor or
contractors to undertake work,they may be required to be lic�nsed in accordance with state and local regulations. If the
contractor is not licensed as required by law, both the owne�r and contractor may be cited for a misdemeanor violation
under state law If the owner or intended contractor are un q�ertain as to what licensing requirements may apply for the
intended work,they are advised to contact the Pasco County IBuilding Inspection Division—Licensing Section at 727-847-
8009. Furthermore, if the owner has hired a contractor or contractors, he is advised to have the contractor(s) sign
portions of the"contractor Block"of this application for whic they will be responsible. If you, as the owner sign as the
contractor,that may be an indication that he is not properly I censed and is not entitled to permitting privileges in Pasco
County:
TRANSPORTATION IMPACTIUTILITIES IMPACT AND RES URCE RECOVERY FEES: The undersigned understands
that Transportation Impact Fees and Recourse Recovery Fee may apply to the construction of new buildings,change of
use in existing buildings, or expansion of existing buildings, s specified in Pasco County Ordinance number 89-07 and
90-07, as amended. The undersigned also understands,tha�such fees, as may be due,will be identified at the time of
permitting. It is further understood that Transportation Impact Fees and Resource Recovery Fees must be paid prior to
receiving a"certificate of occupancy"or final power release. Ilf the project does not involve a certificate of occupancy or
final power release,the fees must be paid prior to permit iss�ance. Furthermore, if Pasco County Water/Sewer Impact
fees are due,they must be paid prior to permit issuance in accordance with applicable Pasco County ordinances.
CONSTRUCTION LIEN LAW(Chapter 713,Florida Statute�,as amended): If valuation of work is$2,500.00 or more,I
certify that I, the applicant, have been provided with a copy of the "Florida Construction Lien Law—Homeowner's
Protection Guide"prepared by the Florida Department of Agr'culture and Consumer Affairs. If the applicant is someone
other than the"owner",I certify that I have obtained a copy of he above described document and promise in good faith to
deliver it to the"owner"prior to commencement.
CONTRACTOR'S/OWNER'S AFFIDAVIT• I certify that all th information in this application is accurate and that all work
will be done in compliance with all applicable laws regulating consVuction,zoning and land development. Application is
hereby made to obtain a permit to do work and installation as indicated. I certify that no work or installation has
commenced prior to issuance of a permit and that all work y�vill be pertormed to meet standards of all laws regulating
construction, County and City codes, zoning regulations, anH land development regulations in the jurisdiction. I also
certify that I understand that the regulations of other govermm �t agencies may apply to the intended work,and that it is
my responsibility to identify what actions I must take to be in c mpliance. Such agencies include but are not limited to:
- Department of Environmental Protection-Cypress Bayheads, Wetland Areas and Environmentally Sensitive
Lands,Water/Wastewater Treatment.
- Southwest Florida Water Management Distri t-Wells, Cypress Bayheads, Wetland Areas, Altering
Watercourses.
- Army Corps of Engineers-Seawalls,Docks,Navig ble Waterways.
- Department of Health 8� Rehabilitative Services�Environmental Health Unit-Wells, Wastewater Treatment,
Septic Tanks.
- US Environmental Protection Agency-Asbestos ab tement.
- Federal Aviation Authority-Runways.
I understand that the following restrictions apply to the use of fi I:
- Use of fill is not allowed in Flood Zone"V"unless xpressly permitted.
- if the fill material is to be used in Flood Zone "A", it is understood that a drainage plan addressing a
"compensating volume"will be submitted at time f permitting which is prepared by a professional engineer
licensed by the State of Florida.
- If the fill material is to be used in Flood Zone "A" in connection with a permitted building using stem wall
construction,I certify that fill will be used only to fill�the area within the stem wall.
- If fill material is to be used in any area, I certi�y that use of such fill will not adversely affect adjacent
properties. If use of fill is found to adversely affect adjacent properties,the owner may be cited for violating
the conditions of the building permit issued unde�the attached permit application,for lots less than one (1)
acre which are elevated by fill,an engineered drai age plan is required.
If I am the AGENT FOR THE OWNER,I promise in good faith to inform the owner of the permitting conditions set forth in
this affidavit prior to commencing construction. I understand hat a separate permit may be required for electrical work,
plumbing, signs, wells, pools, air conditioning, gas, or other,nstallations not specifically included in the application. A
permit issued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with the work and not as authoriry to violate,cancel,alter,or
set aside any provisions of the technical codes,nor shall issu�nce of a permit prevent the Building Official from thereafter
requiring a correction of errors in plans,construction or violations of any codes. Every permit issued shall become invalid
unless the work authorized by such permit is commenced wit i in six months of permit issuance,or if work authorized by
the permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of six(6)rr�onths after the time the work is commenced. An extension
may be requested, in writing,from the Building Official for a period not to exceed ninety(90)days and will demonstrate
justifiable cause for the extension. If work ceases for ninety(9 i)consecutive days,the job is considered abandoned.

Mechanical Specifications -3-10 Ton R-410A PKGD Unitary Cooling Rooftop

, General
The units shall be convertible airflow. The operating range shall be between 115°F and 0°F in cooling as standard from
the factory for units with microprocessor controls. Operat`ng range for units with electromechanical controls shall be
between 115°F and 40°F Cooling performance shall be r ted in accordance with ARI testing procedures.All units shall
be factory assembled, internally wired, fully charged with R-410A, and 100 percent run tested to check cooling
operation, fan and blower rotation, and control sequence before leaving the factory. Wiring internal to the unit shall be
colored and numbered for simplified identification. Units hall be cULus listed and labeled, classified in accordance for
Central Cooling Air Conditioners.
Casing
Unit casing shall be constructed of zinc coated, heavy ga ge, galvanized steel. Exterior surfaces shall be cleaned,
phosphatized, and finished with a weather-resistant bake enamel finish. Units surtace shall be tested 672 hours in a
salt spray test in compliance with ASTM B117 Cabinet cQnstruction shall allow for all maintenance on one side of the
unit. Service panels shall have lifting handles and be removed and reinstalled by removing two fasteners while providing
a water and air tight seal. All exposed vertical panels and top covers in the indoor air section shall be insulated with a
cleanable foil-faced, fire-retardant permanent, odorless gl ss fiber material. The base of the unit shall be insulated with
1/8", foil-faced, closed-cell insulation. All insulation edges�shall be either captured or sealed. The units base pan shall
have no penetrations within the perimeter of the curb other than the raised 1 1/8" inch high downflow supply/return
openings to provide an added water integrity precaution, if the condensate drain backs up. The base of the unit shall
have provisions for forklift and crane lifting, with forklift ca abilities on three sides of the unit.
Hinged Access Doors
Sheet metal hinges are available on the Filter/Evaporator Supply Fan/Heat, and the Compressor/Control Access
Doors.
Powered or Unpowered Convenience Outlet
This is a GFCI, 120v/15amp, 2 plug, convenience outlet, either powered or unpowered. When the convenience outlet is
powered, a service receptacle disconnect will be available. The convenience outlet is powered from the line side of the
disconnect or circuit breaker, and therefore will not be affected by the position of the disconnect or circuit breaker. This
option can only be ordered when the Through the Base E ectrical with either the Disconnect Switch or Circuit Breaker
option is ordered.
Unit Top
The top cover shall be one piece construction or, where seams exist, it shall be double-hemmed and gasket-sealed.
The ribbed top adds extra strength and enhances water r�moval from unit top.
Filters
Throwaway filters shall be standard on all units. Optional �-inch MERV 8 and MERV 13 filters shall also be available.
Compressors
All units shall have direct-drive, hermetic, scroll type comp essors with centrifugal type oil pumps. Motor shall be suction
gas-cooled and shall have a voltage utilization range of pl�s or minus 10 percent of unit nameplate voltage. Internal
overloads shall be provided with the scroll compressors.
Dual compressors are outstanding for humidity control, lig�t load cooling conditions and system back-up applications.
Dual compressors are available on 7'/z-10 ton models an allow for efficient cooling utilizing 3-stages of compressor
operation for all high efficiency models.
Notes:
Crankcase heaters are optional on TSC(036, 048, 060, 07� , 090, 102, 120); standard on THC(036, 048, 060, 072, 092,
102, 120) .
Evaporator and Condenser Coils
Internally finned, 5/16"copper tubes mechanically bonded to a configured aluminum plate fin shall be standard The
microchannel type condenser coil is stanclard for the TSC 10 tor models and 7'/2 ton high efficiency models. The
microchannel type condenser coil is not offered on the 7'/2 ton dehumidification model. Due to flat streamlined tubes with
small ports, and metallurgical tube-tofin bond, microchann�e!coil has better heat transfer performance. Microchannel
condenser coil can reduce system refrigerant charge by u�to 50% because of smaller internal volume, which leads to
better compressor reliability. Compact all-aluminum microchannel coils also help to reduce the unit weight.

All-aluminum construction improves re-cyclability. Galvanic corrosion is also minimized due to all aluminum
construction Strong aluminum brazed structure provides petter fin protection. In addition, flat streamlined tubes also
make microchannel coils more dust resistant and easier to clean. Coils shall be leak tested at the factory to ensure the
pressure integrity. The evaporator coil and condenser coil shall be leak tested to 600 psig. The assembled unit shall be
leak tested to 465 psig. The condenser coil shall have a p�atent pending 1+1+1 hybrid coil designed with slight gaps for
ease of cleaning A removable, reversible, double-sloped�ondensate drain pan with through the base condensate drain
is standard.
Outdoor Fans
The outdoor fan shall be direct-drive, statically and dynarr�ically balanced, draw-through in the vertical discharge
position. The fan motor shall be permanently lubricated and shall have built-in thermal overload protection.
Indoor Fan
The following units shall be equipped with a direct drive plenum fan design (T/YSC120E, T/YHC092, 102, 120E).
Plenum fan design shall include a backward-curved fan w�eel along with an external rotor direct drive variable speed
indoor motor. All plenum fan designs will have a variable speed adjustment potentiometer located in the control box.
3-5 ton units (standard efficiency 3-phase or high efficienc�3-phase with optional motor)are belt driven, FC centrifugal
fans with adjustable motor sheaves. 3-5 ton units (1-phas or high efficiency 3-phase) have multispeed, direct drive
motors. All 6-8'/ton units (standard efficiency) shall have�belt drive motors with an adjustable idler-arm assembly for
quick-adjustment to fan belts and motor sheaves. All motors shall be thermally protected. All 10 tons and 7%2-8'/2(high
efficiency) have variable speed direct drive motors. All ind�oor fan motors meet the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 1992
(EPACT).
Single Zone VAV-One Zone Variable Air Volume Mode
Single zone VAV is designed for use in single zone applications like gymnasiums, auditoriums, manufacturing facilities,
retail box stores, and any large open spaces, where therelis a lot of diversity in the load profile. Single Zone VAV(SZ
VAV)is an ideal replacement to yesterdays constant volurrSe(CV)systems, by reducing operating costs while improving
occupant comfort. SZ VAV systems combine Trane application, control and system integration knowledge to exactly
match fan speed with cooling and heating loads, regardle�ss of the operating condition. Trane algorithms meet/exceed
ASHRAE 90 1-2010, SZ VAV energy-saving recommend�tions, and those of CA Title 24 The result is an optimized
balance between zone temperature control and system energy savings. Depending on your specific application, energy
savings can be as much as 20+°/o

Plenum Fan
The following unit shall be equipped with a direct drive plenum fan design (all 10 tons and 7.5-8 5 ton high efficiency

speed indoor motor All plenum fan designs will have a va�iable speed adjustment potentiometer located in the control

Controls
Unit shall be completely factory-wired with necessary con�rols and contactor pressure lugs or terminal block for power
wiring. Unit shall provide an external location for mounting a fused disconnect device. A choice of microprocessor or
electromechanical controls shall be available. Microproce sor controls provide for volt control functions. The resident
control algorithms shall make all heating, cooling, and/or�entilating decisions in response to electronic signals from
sensors measuring indoor and outdoor temperatures. The�control algorithm maintains accurate temperature control,
minimizes drift from set point, and provides better building comfort.A centralized Microprocessor shall provide anti-short
cycle timing and time delay between compressors to provide a higher level of machine protection.
Refrigerant Circuits
Each refrigerant circuit offer thermal expansion valve as standard Service pressure ports, and refrigerant line filter

driers are factory-installed as standard. An area shall be Iprovided for replacement suction line driers.
Phase monitor
Phase monitor shall provide 100% protection for motors nd compressors against problems caused by phase loss,
phase imbalance, and phase reversal. Phase monitor is equipped with an LED that provides an ON or FAULT indicator.
There are no field adjustments. The module will automati�cally reset from a fault condition.
Electric Heaters
Electric heat modules shall be available for installation wi hin basic unit. Electric heater elements shall be constructed of
heavy-duty nickel chromium elements internally delta co nected for 240 volt, wye connected for 480 and 600 volt.
Staging shall be achieved through ReliaTel. Each heater package shall have automatically reset high limit control
operating through heating element contactors. All heater shall be individually fused from the factory, where required,
and shall meet all NEC and CEC requirements when proQerly installed Power assemblies shall provide single point
connection. Electric heat modules shall be UL listed or C A certified.
Through the Base Electrical with Disconnect Switch
This 3-pole, molded case, disconnect switch with provisi ns for through the base electrical connections are available.
The disconnect switch will be installed in the unit in a wat r tight enclosure with access through a swinging door.Wiring
will be provided from the switch to the unit high voltage t rminal block. The switch will be UUCSA agency recognized.
Note: The disconnect switch will be sized per NEC and L guidelines but will not be used in place of unit overcurrent
protection.
Economizer
This accessory shall be available with or without baromet ic relief. The assembly includes fully modulating 0-100
percent motor and dampers, minimum position setting, p�eset linkage, wiring harness with plug, spring return actuator
and fixed dry bulb control. The barometric relief shall pro�ide a pressure operated damper that shall be gravity closing
and shall prohibit entrance of outside air during the equip�ent off cycle. Optional solid state or differential enthalpy
control shall be available for either factory or field installat on. The economizer arrives in the shipping position and shall
be moved to the operating position by the installing contr ctor.
Motorized Outside Air Dampers
Manually set outdoor air dampers shall provide up to 50 p rcent outside air. Once set, outdoor air dampers shall open to
set position when indoor fan starts. The damper shall clo�e to the full closed position when indoor fan shuts down.
Frostat
This option is to be utilized as a safety device. The Frost t opens when temperatures on the evaporator coil fall below
10°F. The temperature will need to rise to 50°F before clo�sing This option should be utilized in low airflow or high
outside air applications. (Cooling with Electric Heat Only.)
T.rane Single Zone Variable Air Volume Control Sequ nce of Operation (Precedent 17 Plus)
General Standbv Mode
During normal occupied periods, when there is no space ooling or heating demands, the user will be able to choose
Continuous or Cycling supply fan operation. During this p riod, if the supply fan is operating due to a Continuous Fan
Mode selection or due to a ventilation request, the supply fan will operate at 50% of the user selected, application
specific, maximum airflow. The unit controls will be compatible with BACnet and LonTalk Building Automation System
communication interfaces.
Cooling Operation
Default Oqeration.
During Cooling operation, the control will monitor the Sp ce Temperature and Space Cooling setpoint and with a PI
contro
algorithm determine if active cooling capacity is required.As the Space Temperature deviates from the Space Cooling
Setpoint,
the unit controller will calculate an active Discharge Air C�ooling setpoint that the economizer(if installed) and
compressor outputs I
will be controlled to meet. This active Discharge Air Cooling setpoint will be calculated between the Space Cooling
setpoint and a
user adjustable minimum (65F Default for Single Zone Variable Air Volume Control). Once the control determines that
a discharge
air temperature equal to the user selected minimum (65F Default) is required to meet the space cooling demand, if the
space
demand continues to increase, the supply fan speed will be allowed to increase above its minimum speed
proportionally to meet

the additional demand.
Alternate Economizer Operation:
Under the Default Operation, as described above, the su ply fan speed will remain at minimum speed, as determined
by the active
cooling stages, until the space demand requires an increase in supply airflow The customer will have the ability to
choose to allow
the supply fan speed to increase when the economizer i enthalpy enabled in order to realize the maximum cooling
capacity of the
economizer, prior to energizing compressor outputs, wh n the space requires active cooling capacity. All cooling
capacity demand
decisions will function as described in the �Default Oper tion� section above with the exception of the supply fan
speed when the
unit has an active cooling demand and the economizer i�enthalpy enabled.
Heatinq Operation
During Heating operation, the control will monitor the Space Temperature and Space Heating setpoint and with a PI
control algorithm determine if active heating capacity is re� uired. As the Space Temperature deviates from the Space
Heating Setpoint, the unit controller will increase the supp�y airtlow up to the user selected, application specific,
maximum airflow and begin to stage heating outputs (gas or electric)to meet the space demand.
The customer will also have the ability to enable Supply A r Tempering control which will allow the unit to bring on one
stage of heating when the discharge air temperature falls elow the Space Heating Setpoint- 10°F and the unit is
operating in a minimum ventilation state with the supply fan running (not actively heating or cooling). The supply fan
output will increase to the user selected, application speci ic, maximum airflow during Supply Air Tempering operation.
