That ia the event various phases of construction are subcontracted, he will <br /> engage only properly licensed subcoatractors and will personally supervise ' <br /> such work. <br /> 4. That in the eveat the Suildiag Inspector shall require correctioas to be made, <br /> the owner will assume full responsibility to iasure they are made, and upon <br /> completion will call for a reinspection before proceediag with the buildiag. <br /> 5. That the owaer shall assume full respoasibility for the construction and will <br /> aot expect supervisioa of his work from the City of Zephyrhills Suilding <br /> Departmeat. <br /> 6. That prior to fiaal inspectioa aay additioaal fees, including reiaspection <br /> fees, must be paid in full. A written request from this office shall <br /> coastitute aa official notice to pay additioaal fees. <br /> 7. That the owaer ahall comply with all City, State and Federal laws ia regard to <br /> social security, workman's compensation, lien laws, etc. , where applicable. <br /> 8. That the owaer shall comply with all the safety codes issued by the Florida <br /> Industrial Commiasion. <br /> 9. State law requirea construction to be doae by licensed contractors. You have <br /> applied for a permit uader an exemptioa to that law. The exemption allows <br /> you, as the owner of your property, to act as your own contractor with certaia <br /> restrictions even though you do aot have a licease. You must provide direct � <br /> onsite supervision of the coastructioa yourself. You may build or improve a � <br /> one-family or two-family resideace or a farm outbuildiag. You may also build II <br /> or improve a commercial buildiag, provided your costs do aot exceed $75,000. �, <br /> The building or resideace must be for your own use or occupancy. It may aot <br /> be built or substantially improved for sale or lease. If you sell or lease a <br /> buildiag you have built or substaatially improved yourself withia 1 year after <br /> the constructioa is complete, the law will presume that you built or <br /> substaatially improved if for sale or lease, which is a violation of this ' <br /> exemption. You may aot hire aa ualicensed person to act as your contractor or <br /> to supervise people working oa your building. It is your respoasibility to <br /> make sure that people employed by you have liceases required by state law aad <br /> by couaty or muaicipal licensing ordiaances. You may aot delegate the <br /> responsibility for supervising work to a licensed coatractor who is not <br /> licensed to perform the work beiag doae.
