,� <br /> ` 3 . 02 INSTALLATION: , <br /> A. Preparation: � <br /> 1 . On freshly finished concrete surfaces, no additional <br /> surface preparation will be required. � <br /> 2 . On areas where forms are recently removed, remove all � <br /> form oil and breaking compound residue to assure <br /> penetration of the product into the surface . � <br /> 3 . On existing concrete, vertical surfaces, and masonry <br /> surfaces : <br /> a. Sweep all areas to be treated, using a fine bristle ' <br /> broom, or hose off with water and let dry to remove <br /> all surface dust and dirt . � <br /> b. Free the surface from all contaminants which would <br /> inhibit penetration of the product into the pores � <br /> of the material to be treated. <br /> c . Remove all curing, sealing, and coating agents by <br /> use of chemical or mechanical means as required. � <br /> d. If acid is used to remove surface coatings, flush <br /> the surface with water sufficiently to remove all ' <br /> acid and acid residues . <br /> 4 . When applying near windows, mask the glass . � <br /> 5 . Avoid contact with plant life, glass, aluminum, and <br /> other finished surfaces . Where contact occurs, <br /> immediately wipe with a damp cloth or flush with water. � <br /> 6 . Avoid contact with asphaltic concrete. <br /> B. Application: ' <br /> 1 . On freshly finished surfaces, spray the product with a � <br /> low pressure sprayer immediately following the <br /> finishing operation. <br /> a. To assure proper curing, apply the product to the � <br /> entire surface as soon as the surface is firm <br /> enough to walk on, and before checking and <br /> temperature cracking begins . � <br /> b.
