• December 21, 20 i 6
190-ft Self-Supporting Tower Structural Analysis Report - CC/BU No 826548
TEP Project Number 48i67.104472,Application 372275, Revision 0 Page 3
1) INTRODUCTION
This tower is a 190-ft self-supporting tower designed by Vaimont Microflect in January of 1998. The tower was
originally designed for a wind speed of 105 mph per EIA/TIA-222-F for the appurtenances listed in Table 3. The
tower has been modified per reinforcement drawings prepared by Tower Engineering Professionals in July of
2013.TEP visited the site in November of 2013 to perform a post-modification inspection.All information provided
to TEP was assumed to be accurate and complete.
2) ANALYSIS CRITERIA
The analysis has been performed in accordance with the ANSI/TIA-222-G-2-2009 Structural Standard for Antenna
Supportinp Structures and Antennas—Addendum 2 using a nominal 3-second gust wind speed of 106 mph with
no ice and 60 mph under service loads with the following design criteria:
Type of Analvsis: Rigorous Structural Analysis
Classification of Structure: Class II
Exposure Cateqorv: Exposure C
Topoqraphic Categorv: Category 1
EarthQuake Cateqorv: Not Considered
Earthquake effects may be ignored per this standard for site locations where Ss does not exceed 1.0.
(Pasco County Max Ss=0.10).
Table 1 - Proposed Antenna and Cable Information
_ ; .Center  . , , _ ._.
. . _ _ _ _. ,
Mountin I Nuin6er=  -  _ `Num6er Feed . ;
g Line ;. --  Antenna ; - Line ;
of -= -.:...._ : . . ;Antenna Model- -  of Feed; Note'
Level:ft  Elevatioir '  Manufacfurer° i -
( _) i- ; ;Size : -
;Antennas , -- -    - _ ; lines : -
_. .
