October 11, 2017 <br /> Tayseer Abed <br /> 38529 5th Avenue <br /> Zephyrhills Florida 33542 <br /> RE: 38529 5th Avenue <br /> Zephyrhills Florida 33542 <br /> Dear Mr. Abed, , <br /> City of Zephyrhills Code Enforcement has deemed <br /> your property unsafe under the International <br /> Property Maintenance Code Sections [A] 108. 1. 1 <br /> UNSAFE STRUCTURES [A] , 108. 1.3 STRUCTURE UNSAFE FOR <br /> HUMAN OCCUPACY, and [A] 108. 1.5 DANGEROUS STRUCTURE <br /> OR PREMISES #3, 4, 5 &6. <br /> Due to neglect and faulty construction, the roof <br /> system is likely to collapse and is causing water <br /> intrusion into your mercantile food store. You have <br /> endangered your employees (those working inside and <br /> those attempting to repair the roof system) and the <br /> public as a whole. <br /> At this time, you are required to abate these <br /> unsafe conditions. As part of the process of <br /> abatement, the City of Zephyrhills is requiring you <br /> to remove all loose materials from the roof and <br /> hire a properly licensed, qualified contractor. <br /> Said contractor may sign on existing permit #16796 <br /> or obtain a separate permit. Structural engineering <br /> reflecting necessary repairs will be required. The <br /> removal of loose items shall be completed within 10 <br /> days of receipt of notice and the required repairs <br /> shall be completed within 60 days of receipt of I <br /> notice. Furthermore, occupancy will be restricted <br /> and there shall be no business conducted until said <br /> repairs are complete and approved. <br />
