<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br /> CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, LEVYING THE i
<br /> MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005 22 Oo
<br /> FOR THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS. s�
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, has timely advised the Pasco w2
<br /> County Property Appraiser's office that it proposed to levy a millage rate of 6.42 mills, which is more 2 Cs g;
<br /> than the rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(1)by 2.8%; and Q'

<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida did on September 13, 2004

<br /> conduct a Public Hearing and a second Public Hearing on September 27,2004,and following the second CO"'„,I,
<br /> Public Hearing, did adopt a tentative budget of Twenty-Nine Million Three Hundred Thirty-Seven max;
<br /> Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-One Dollars ($29,337,941).
<br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida did advertise on September 24,
<br /> 2004,its intent to adopt a final budget and millage rate during a Public Hearing held September 27,2004;
<br /> and
<br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida, did after receiving input from
<br /> the general public,adopt a final budget of Twenty-Nine Million Three Hundred Thirty-Seven Thousand
<br /> Nine Hundred Forty-One Dollars ($29,337,941).
<br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida,
<br /> sitting in regular session that:
<br /> 1. The millage rate to be levied for ad valorem taxes within the municipality of the City of
<br /> Zephyrhills for the 2004-2005 fiscal year shall be 6.42 mills, said rate being 2.8%more
<br /> than the rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(1).
<br /> 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon passage on the second reading and signing by

<br /> The foregoing Ordinarice No 894-04 was read and passed on the first reading in an open and regular
