`--(uezeb <br /> ORDINANCE NO.: 836-03 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE 527 ALSO KNOWN AS <br /> CHAPTER 31.01(B) GENERAL ELECTIONS OF <br /> THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF <br /> ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING <br /> FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida pursuant to <br /> Section 51.05 of the Zephyrhills Charter and sitting at regular meeting finds that: <br /> 1. Section 51.05 of the Charter of the City of Zephyrhills does hereby <br /> authorize the City Council to designate by Ordinance polling places within the City for <br /> municipal elections. <br /> 2. Ordinance No.: 527 has designated Alice Hall Community Center as the <br /> sole polling place in the City for municipal elections, and <br /> 3. The City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida has determined it <br /> is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida that the polling <br /> places be consistent with that which are utilized in the general elections. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of <br /> Zephyrhills, Florida sitting in regular session that: <br /> Section 1: That Ordinance No.: 527, Chapter 31.01, General Election-Section <br /> B of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Zephyrhills is hereby amended to provide <br /> for additional definitions, and said additional definitions shall henceforth read as <br /> follows: <br /> CHAPTER 31.01-General Election <br /> SECTION B <br /> The following precincts are hereby designated as polling places for municipal <br /> elections: <br /> 1) Alice Hall Community Center-38116 5th Avenue, Zephyrhills, <br /> Florida, Precinct 6 and, <br /> 2) First Church of the Nazarene-6151 12th Street, Zephyrhills, <br /> Florida, Precinct 115 and, <br /> 3) St. Joseph Catholic Church Social Hall-5316 11th Street, <br /> Zephyrhills,Florida, Precinct 90. <br /> Section 2: The provisions of this Ordinance are severable, and if any section, <br /> sentence, clause, or phrase is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, invalid, or <br /> ineffective, this holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the <br />
