Fred Deuel and Associates, Inc., <br /> dated November 25, 1986,said curve having a radius of 3294.79 feet, a central angle <br /> of 01° 51' 31" and a chord of 106.87 feet which bears North 80°16' 18" East,thence <br /> along the Westerly boundary line of said Government Canal,South 01° 09',00" West, <br /> a distance of 350.52 feet to the South boundary line of the Northwest 1/4 of said <br /> Section 19; thence along the South boundary line of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section <br /> 19; North 89° 47' 48" West, a distance of 578.75 feet to the Point of Beginning. The <br /> above described parcel contains 7.965 acres more or less. <br /> SECTION 2: That said lands are contiguous to the present city limits of the City <br /> of Zephyrhills. That said lands are now unincorporated and lie in the same county as said <br /> city,and when annexed,would form a compact addition to the incorporated territory of the <br /> City of Zephyrhills. That the owners of said lands contained in said area to be annexed has <br /> given written consent to have such are annexed and the City Council of the City of <br /> Zephyrhills does hereby approve the annexation for said annexation duly'expressed by <br /> Ordinance. • <br /> SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida,has been <br /> given authority by legislature of the State of Florida under Chapter 69-139, Laws of <br /> Florida, 1969,to zone territorial boundaries upon receipt of a written consent of the land <br /> owner, together with the approval of the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills of said <br /> zoning duly expressed by Ordinance. <br /> SECTION 4: That the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills is of the opinion that <br /> the Industrial Future Land Use designation would promote the general welfare and <br /> encourage proper development within the City. <br /> SECTION 5: •That the City Council,of the City of Zephyrhills is of the opinion that <br /> City LI(Light Industrial)zoning would promote the general welfare and encourage proper <br /> development within the City. <br /> SECTION 6: That due public notice of hearing on such proposed zoning was <br /> given by the City council of the City of Zephyrhills on January 30, 2003 and February 6, <br /> 2003, as required by Chapter 166.041,Florida Statutes. <br /> SECTION 7: That a public hearing on this proposed FLUM amendment and <br /> zoning before the Zephyrhills'Planning Commission was held on December 10, 2002. <br /> SECTION 8: That the Zephyrhills'Planning Commission recommended approval <br />
