ORDINANCE NO. 793,.-01 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNQAPP,)F,fr, ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, A MIF$ICIPAL' r °, CORPORATION, DESIGNATING A' LOCAL- _ HISTORIC DISTRICT AND CONTRIBTTIN,'., 111 BUILDINGS AND/OR STRUCTURES .LOCATE . - - _ 1 THEREIN TO BE LISTED ON TI-it, LOCAr. _, .,: li. _ 0- REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACE ;ii_j AND,,,',-i' PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE `- -- ; _ — — --- 4 „LI, r, WHEREAS,pursuant to Ordinance No.:774-01,a Local Registep�fHistoric Places has been :.,,'`'i0 ,.,:c;.: T. created as a means of identifying and classifying various sites, buildings, structures, i objects and " a -': districts as historic archaeological and/architecturally significant: '2_:; WHEREAS,pursuant to Ordinance No.:I774-01,the Zephyrhils Historic Preservation Board m is vested with the power, authority and jurisdiction to designate, regulaie'and administer'historical archaeological and architectural resources in Zephyrhills under the direct jurisdiction and legislative 's control of the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills :-.-t: WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the City has conducted a historic survey and a inventory of historically, culturally,archaeological and architecturally significant resources within the City of Zephyrhills; and WHEREAS,the Zephyrhills Historic Preservation Board has depicted,on the attachedmap, a historic-district -with-specific_buildings and/or structures as contributing buildings, and has Ri c requested that the City of Council of the City of Zephyrhills designate the district as an historical - s� district and the contributing buildings and/or structures depicted therein to be listed on the Local ape Register of Historic Places; and .T �y WHEREAS,the historical district boundary and the contributing buildings thereto have met v ..n with the criteria set out in Ordinance No.: 774-'01 to qualify as local historic properties and a local historical district; and' _ I 1 -4-" WHEREAS, the Zephyrhills Historic I Preservation Board has followed the appropriate 1 procedures as set out in Ordinance No.: 774-01 in petitioning for the designation of such district and buildings and/or structures to be designated as historical properties and a local historical district. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills that the City of Council of the City of ZephyrhilIls:Ii 1.. Designates the district as a local historical district and the contributing buildings and/or structures depicted therein to be listed On the Local Register of Historic Places; 2. That each building and/or structure within the designated local historical district and included in Appendix "F" of the Historical I Preservation Element of the City of Zephyrhills Comprehensive Plan shall adhere to all rules;regulations and standards asset out in Ordinance No.: I 1 774.01. _ 1 3. .
