LEVYING MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 FOR THE CITY OF ZEPHYR-HILLS. WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills has timely advised the Pasco County Property Appraiser's Office that it proposed to levy a millage rate of 6:42 mills, which is more than the rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065 (1)by 9.61% and WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did on September 13, 1999, conduct a Public Hearing and following said Public Hearing, didadopt a tentative budget of$22,204,161.00 a proposed millage of 6.42 mils; and "JED PITTW N, RRSCO COUNTY CLERK-'09/29/99 11:12am 1 of 2 OR BK zi-a33 PG 7E,°9 WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did advertise on September 24, 1999, its intent to adopt a final budget and millage rate during a Public Hearing held September 27, 1999; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did, after receiving input from the general public, adopt a final budget of$22,204,161.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, sitting in regular session, that: 1. The millage rate to be levied for ad valorem taxes within the municipality of the City of Zephyrhills for the 1999-2000 fiscal year shall be 6.42 mills, said rate being 9.61% more than the rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065 (1). 2. This Ordinance shall become effective upon second reading and signing by the Mayor.
