<br /> CHAPTER 4 SECTION 4200 (TRANSPORTATION
<br /> SYSTEM STANDARDS) OF THE LAND
<br /> DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE CITY OF
<br /> ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING
<br /> FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. t
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, sitting
<br /> in regular meeting that:
<br /> Section 1: That Chapter 4, Design Standards and Development Criteria Section -
<br /> 4200 Transportation System Standards of the Zephyrhills Land Development Code is hereby - ,
<br /> amended and shall henceforth read as follows: ``
<br /> CHAPTER 4 Design Standards and Development Criteria: �,
<br /> SECTION 4200 Transportation System Standards:
<br /> The purpose of this section is to describe regulations which apply to the
<br /> transportation system, including bikeways, pedestrian access, parking and loading. This
<br /> section shall be construed and implemented to create an efficient, safe and balanced system
<br /> of traffic circulation accommodating vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians, and providing for =
<br /> adequate parking and loading.
<br /> All roadway construction or repair activities performed by, or under the supervision
<br /> of the Public Works Department shall be conducted in accordance with the standards set
<br /> forth in the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and
<br /> Bridge Construction, Section 104 (Erosion Control). Vii:

<br /> Section 2: The provisions of this Ordinance are severable, and if any section, :.-,--- ,
<br /> sentence, clause, or phrase is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, invalid, or -
<br /> ineffective, this holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the
<br /> Ordinance, it being expressly declared to be the City Council's intent that it would have
<br /> 4• .
<br /> passed the valid portions of this Ordinance without the inclusion of any invalid portion or
<br /> portions. ---_
<br /> Section 3: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage. 7.
