F WHEREAS,the CityCouncil of the City of Zephyrhills has timely advised the Pasco County Property Appraiser's Office that it proposed to levy a millage rate of'6'.42•.mills, which is more than the rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065 (1)by 1.61% and WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did on September 8, 1997, conduct a Public Hearing and following said Public Hearing, did adopt a tentative budget of$14,663,906.00 JED PITTMAN, PASCO- COUNTY CLERK a proposed millage of 6.42 mils; and 09/26/97 04:01pm 1 of 2 OR BK .31311 PG 122 WHEREAS,the City Council ofthe'City ofZephyrhills•did'advertise on September 19, 1997 its intent to adopt a final budget and millage rate during a Public Hearing held September 22, 1997; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did, after receiving input from the general public, adopt.a final budget of$14,663,906.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, sitting in regular session, that: 1. The millage rate to be levied for ad valorem taxes within the municipality of the City of Zephyrhills for the 1997-1998 fiscal year shall be 6.42 mills,"said rate being 1.61% more than the rolled back rate computed pursuant`to Florida Statute 200.065'(1): 2. This Ordinance shall become effective upon second reading and signing by the Mayor.
