i <br /> i111111 IIIII 71117 11111 11111 11111 71111 11111 illi ilii <br /> 98118425 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 704 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS,' FLORIDA,. <br /> LEVYING MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR <br /> 1998-1999 FOR THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS. <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills has timely advised the Pasco County <br /> Property Appraiser's Office that it proposed to levy a millage rate of 6.42 mills, which is more than <br /> the rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065 (1) by 2.55% and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did on September 14, 1998, conduct <br /> a Public Hearing and following said Public Hearing, did adopt a tentative budget of$19,162,558.00 <br /> . -Rept: 272230 'Rec: 10.50 <br /> a proposed millage of 6.42 mils; and DS: 0.00 IT: 0,.00 <br /> 09/30/98 7____________ Dpty Clerk <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did advertise on September 25, 1998 <br /> its intent to adopt a final budget and millage rate during a Public Hearing held September 28, 1998; <br /> ED PITTMAN, PASCO COUNTY CLERK 09/30/98 <br /> and OR/3 / 09ps 1 of 2 <br /> P6 14.•4. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did, after receiving input from the <br /> general public, adopt a final budget of$19,162,558.00. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, <br /> Florida, sitting in regular session, that: <br /> 1. The millage rate to be levied for ad valorem taxes within the municipality of the City <br /> of Zephyrhills for the 1998-1999 fiscal year shall be 6.42 mills, said rate being 2.55% more than the <br /> rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065 (1). <br /> 2.
