ORDINANCE NO. 614 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 422, SECTION 6.1 ;J AND 6.2 AS ENACTED AND REPUBLISIgED, IN.. . - THE ZEPHYR$ILLS CITY CODE, SECTIONS 5- 21(a), DOG LICENSES, AND 5-22(a), VACCINATION AGAINST RABIES REQUIRED. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida; sitting in regular meeting that: Section 1: That Section 6.1 of Ordinance No. 422,as republished in Zephyrhills City Code Section - 1 J 5-21(a), Dog Licenses, is hereby amended to reduce the age of the animal for which an owner or harborer must obtain a license tag for said animal from six(6) months to four(4) months. All other provisions of said Section of the aforementioned Ordinance and 4ephyr,'hills City Code not herein specifically amended, remain in full.force.and:effect. : Section 2: That Section,6.2 of Ordinance No. 422, as republished in the Zephyrhills City Code Section 5-22(a), Vaccination Against Rabies Required, is hereby amended to:reduce the age of the animal for which an owner or harborer must commence annual vaccination against rabies by a licensed veterinarian from six(6) months to four(4)months. All other provisions of said Section-of the aforementioned Ordinance and Zephyrhills City ,. Code not herein specifically amended, remain in full force and effect. Section 3: The provisions of this Ordinance are severable, and if any section,sentence, clause, or phrase is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, invalid, or ineffective, this holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the Ordinance, it being expressly declared to be the City Council's intent that it would have passed the valid portions of this Ordinance without the inclusion of any invalid portion or portions. Section 4: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
