ORDINANCE NO. 551 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS,. FLORIDA, REQUIRING MANDATORY COURT APPEARANCES FOR CERTAIN VIOLATIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 520, KNOWN AS THE ZEPHYRHILLS ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, sitting in regular session, that: ' That any person to whom a citation for violation of Ordinance No. 520 has been issued, alleging any of the-offenses . enumerated below, shall appear in Court to answer;_to said .Charges for an arraignment at the time and place designated - in the citation. A. Aggravated violations of Ordinance No. 520, resulting in the unprovoked biting, attacking or wounding of a domestic animal . - - -- J B. Violations resulting in destruction or loss of personal property. - .' C. Second or subsequent violation of same section =of 11 Ordinance No. 520, by same person. - - D. The issuance of a third or subsequent citation -tor a same person for any violation of Ordinance No. 520. Persons required to appear in Court pursuant to a citation issued by a local animal control officer, do not have the option of paying a fine instead of appearing. This Ordinance shall become effective upon third reading and signing by the Mayor.
