• WHEREAS, the Zephyrhills City Council has requested the Zephyrhills Planning Commission, as the local planning agency of the City, to recommend inclusion of this property in the City' s Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, based upon the recommendations of the Planning Commission to the Zephyrhills City Council, said Council has prepared the proposed .amendments„ ,to..the Cit.Vs—CompreherxsiVe_P1_a.n and transmitted them to the Department of Community Affairs and such other agencies as required by Section 163. 3184, Florida Statutes and the proposed amendments have been reviewed by the Department of Community Affairs; and WHEREAS, the Department of . Community Affairs had desired additional information' concerning these annexations to insure the City ' s ability to provide services as indicated in the proposed amendements; and WHEREAS, in response to objections, recommendations and comments made by the DCA, further information, data and analysis has been provided to conform to the Growth Management Act and Laws of Florida, specifically, Chapter 163 and Rules 9J-5 and 9J-11, FAC, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Zephyrhills City Council to hereby formally adopt the amendments to the City 's Comprehensive Plan. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the - City of Zephyrhills, Florida, as follows : Section 1: The following amendments to the . .Comprehensive Plan of the City of Zephyrhills, are hereby proposed: (a) All maps depicting land use, traffic circulation, public facilities, rec:reat-i6nE1 =sites, and "housing have been • amended to include, show, and depict the annexed properties described above.
