WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of amending the municipal Charter of the City of Zephyrhills in accordance with the best interest of the municipality of Zephyrhills, and WHEREAS, Chapter 166 of the Florida Statutes mandates that in order to amend the City's Charter, an ordinance must be adopted by the City Council, incorporating the proposed 111 amendments to the City Charter, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 166 of the Florida Statutes, a1L such amendments are subject to referendum by the City electors, and WHEREAS, regular City elections are set for April 12, 1994. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, that the followingamendment to the CityCharter is proposed to the electorates of the City for referendum P P at the elections herein to be held on April 12, 1994. All references to title and chapter, unless otherwise stated, refer to the Charter of the City of Zephyrhills. TITLE la EXECUTIVE AND ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT -. Chapter 3: Cit v Manazer =- 111 Section 33.04. Termination of City Manager. The City Council may terminate the employment of City Manager upon 3/5 vote of the Council.
