Chi a 4 9 5 ORDINANCE NO. 6 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, CONTRACTING THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY BY EXCLUDING THEREFROM, 1 \ 5 - 011 TERRITORIES DESCRIBED HEREIN, PURSUANT TO AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 171 .051 , LAWS OF FLORIDA. WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, as governing body of the municipal corporation of the City of Zephyrhills is authorized by Florida Statute 171 .051 of the Laws of Florida and by the municipal charter, to initiate Ordiances to contract the municipal boundaries of said City, and WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, has determined that the property to be deannexed does not meet the criteria set forth in Florida Statutes 171 .043 , and WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, believes that it is in the best interests of the City to exclude said lands from the corporate limits of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, be it enacted and ordained by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, as follows : SECTION 1 : The following described lands , lying and being situate within the corporate limits of the City of Zephyrhills , to-wit: Commence at the SE corner of the NW 4 of the SE 4 of Section 4, Township 26 South, Range 21 East for Point of Beginning; thence run westerly 700 feet; thence run northerly 661 . 14 ft . ; thence run easterly 700 ft; thence run southerly 661 .14 feet to Point of Beginning. be and the same are hereby excluded from the corporate city limits of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, a municipal corporation. SECTION 2 : Said lands are undeveloped, uhinhabified and._ unbenefited by municipal services and do -not meet the criteria of Florida Statute 171 .043 .
