ORDINANCE NO. 427 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, ANNEXING ADDITIONAL TERRITORY TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY PURSUANT TO THE REQUEST OF THE OWNERS OF SUCH LAND AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 171 . 044, LAWS OF FLORIDA. WHEREAS , on the 14th day of May, 1986 , ARTHUR E. CARPENTER and OPAL L. CARPENTER, were the owners in fee of the lands hereinafter described in Section 1 and WHEREAS, ARTHUR E. CARPENTER and OPAL L. CARPENTER, pursuant to an Agreement Arising Out of Request for City Services Outside Corporate Limits entered into between ARTHUR E. CARPENTER and OPAL L. CARPENTER, and the City of Zephyrhills on May 14, 1986 , agreed on behalf of themselves and their successors in title that the lands described in Section 1 shall be annexed and become part of the City of Zephyrhills when said property became contiguous to the corporate boundaries of the City of Zephyrhills , and WHEREAS, such annexations are authorized by Florida Statute 171 .044, of the laws of Florida and the municipal Charter; and WHEREAS, the City Council approves the annexation of said lands and the inclusion of said lands within the corporate limits of said City, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, as follows : SECTION 1 . That the following described lands , lying and being situate in Pasco County, Florida, to-wit : Lots 8, 9 , 10, 11 , 12 , 13, 14, 15 , 16 & 17 of Lane Park Estates as recorded in Plat Book 7 , Page 72 of the Public Records of Pasco County, Section 15 , Township 26 S. , Range 21 East . be, and the same is hereby annexed to and included within the boundaries of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, a municipal corporation.
