JED PITT ORDINANCE NO. 428 <br /> • <br /> oeir /9 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , <br /> FLORIDA, ANNEXING ADDITIONAL TERRITORY TO <br /> BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID <br /> CITY PURSUANT TO THE REQUEST OF THE OWNERS <br /> OF SUCH LAND AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA <br /> STATUTE 171 .044, LAWS OF FLORIDA. <br /> WHEREAS , on the 5th day of September , 1975 , CHARLES L. <br /> PIERCE and ROSELLA A. PIERCE, his wife, were the owners in <br /> fee of the lands hereinafter described in Section 1 and <br /> WHEREAS , CHARLES L. PIERCE and ROSELLA A. PIERCE, his <br /> wife, pursuant to an Agreement Arising Out of Request for <br /> City Services Outside Corporate Limits entered into between <br /> CHARLES L. PIERCE and ROSELLA A. PIERCE, his wife and the <br /> City of Zephyrhills on September 5 , 1975 , agreed on behalf of <br /> themselves and their predecessors in title that the lands <br /> described in Section 1 shall be annexed and become part of <br /> the City of Zephyrhills when said property became contiguous <br /> to the corporate boundaries of the City of Zephyrhills , and <br /> WHEREAS, such annexations are authorized by Florida <br /> Statute 171 .044, of the laws of Florida and the municipal <br /> Charter ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City Council approves the annexation of said <br /> lands and the inclusion of said lands within the corporate <br /> limits of said City, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the City <br /> Council. of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, as follows : <br /> SECTION 1 . That the following described lands , lying and <br /> being situate in Pasco County, Florida, to-wit : <br /> Tracts 34 and 47 , LESS the North 25 feet of <br /> said Tract 34, of ZEPHYRHILLS COLONY <br /> COMPANY LANDS , in Section 15 , Township 26 <br /> South, Range 21 East , as per plat thereof <br /> recorded in Plat Book 1 , Page 55 , Public <br /> Records of Pasco County, Florida. <br /> be, and the same is hereby annexed to and included within the <br /> boundaries of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, a municipal <br /> corporation. <br /> clt <br /> SECTION 2 .
