OF SAID CITY <br /> BY AMENDING TITLE IX TO PROVIDE THAT WHEREVER TO - WORDS <br /> " CITY CLERK" AND "CLERK" EXIST THE WORDS "CITY MANAGER" <br /> SHALL BE INSERTED INSTEAD, AND FURTHER;7PROVIDING- THAT <br /> SECTION 21 .07 OF TITLE II SHALL BE CHANGED TO PROVJDE A <br /> MAXIMUM COMPENSATION FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE. :CI-Tf C`OUNCIL <br /> AND THE MAYOR TO BE THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED <br /> ( $1 ,200 .00) DOLLARS PER YEAR EACH INSTEAD OF A MAXIMUM <br /> OF SIX HUNDRED ( $600 .00) DOLLARS PER YEAR, AND PROVIDING <br /> FOR A REFERENDUM BY THE CITY ELECTORS ON THESE PROPOSED <br /> CHANGES . <br /> WHEREAS, amendments to the City Charter a-re-- subject to <br /> referendum by City Electors , and <br /> WHEREAS , there is scheduled a City election for . April. 8 , <br /> 1986 . <br /> -7 :. <br /> NOW.,. THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COU•NCIL OF <br /> •THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, as follows : <br /> SECTION 1 . That the .municipal charter of the City of <br /> Zephyrhills be, and the same is hereby now amended as <br /> 0 <br /> _ follows : <br /> • <br /> ( a) In Title IX . Recall , Chapter l ,. (Hiherever the words <br /> " City Clerk" and "Clerk" appear, they shall be omitted and <br /> the words "City Manager" shall be inserted in their' p1 acecand <br /> stead . <br /> (b ) In Section 21 .07 of Title II , Compensationof <br /> Members , wherever the words "Six Hundred ($600--.00)-: Dollars" <br /> appear , they shall be omitted and the words "One Thousand Two <br /> Hundred ( $1 ,200 .00) Dollars" shall be inserted in their place <br /> and stead . " <br /> SECTION 2 . That approval of City amendments referred to <br /> above or any of same shall be subject to referendum of City <br /> electors at the City election first above-mentioned . <br /> SECTION 3 .
