op Oh, 305. ORDINANCE NO. 270 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, ADOPTING THE STATE . ELECTION LAWS FOR CONDUCTING MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS . WHEREAS, Florida Statutes provide a proceedure - whereby the governing authority under the charter of a municipal corporation may adopt the state election laws for conducting a municipal election; and WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Zephyrhills has deemed it to the best interest of said City that the State Election. Laws as the presently exist and all amendments_, control the city elections for the City of Zephyrhills ., CD let NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City -Council ctr of the City of Zephyrhills as follows : 1. That the State Election Laws as set forth- in the 1976 Florida Statutes are hereby adopted to govern all municipal elections within the City of Zephyrhills , together with all subsequent amendments thereto and hereinafter enacted by the Florida Legislature. 2. That this ordinance shall be effective on the date and year this ordinance shall be approved by the Mayor of the " City of Zephyrhills after same shall have been read three times in meetings of the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills. 3. That this ordinance shall be published in the Zephyrhills News for four (4) consecutive weeks and that proof of publication of this ordinance shall be filed herein prior to final reading of this ordinance. 4 . That upon the filing of proof of publication and final adoption of this ordinance a copy of same shall be spread upon the minute books , a copy filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pasco County, Florida; a copy will be forwarded to the office of the Secretary of State, Tallahassee, Florida, and made a part of the public records of the municipality of Zephxrhills.
