It is the purpose of this Ordinance to <br /> prohibit the parking of trailers in residential areas and to <br /> CDCD prohibit the parking of semi-tractor trucks so as to pose a <br /> nuisance and/or safety hazard together with prohibiting <br /> the unreasonable emission of noise within residential areas . <br /> SECTION 2. The definition of truck, for the purpose <br /> of this ordinance shall include any vehicle designed to haul , <br /> 1carry or convey any type of goods or. wares or designed .to pull <br /> any trailer for the .purpose of hauling, carrying or conveying <br /> any type of goods or wares ; that part of this ordinance pertain- <br /> ing to engine noise shall also regulate the trailer .designed <br /> to be pulled by a truck whether physically connected to the truck <br /> at the time or whether standing alone., separate from the truck; • <br /> • <br /> provided, however , that this .ordinance shall not apply to pick-up <br /> trucks . <br /> SECTION 3 . The term residential area shall include <br /> all areas zoned for residential use and all other areas lying <br /> • within 200 feet of a residentially zoned area. <br /> SECTION 4. Trailer shall mean all semi-truck equipment <br /> designed to haul goods or designed to be pulled by a_-truck. <br /> 117 SECTION 5 .
