Once the door is squarely in place,tighten the preliminary screws and <br /> proceed to install any remaining screws,starting from the middle of a <br /> side and working out toward the corners. The screws should penetrate <br /> the mounting frame to a depth of at least one inch and care should be <br /> taken to drive the screws straight into the studs,not at an angle.Tighten <br /> the screws until the putty squeezes out. <br /> 4. Install screws in the top and bottom horizontal rails in the same <br /> O manner as the vertical rails until all attachment points are filled. <br /> O 5. The door should now be securely fastened to the wall and it is safe to <br /> use the features of the door. Remove the shipping clips and operate the <br /> door several times to be sure it functions as designed. <br /> 6.Optional-Attach two screws of length between 1-1/2"-2"into one <br /> hole of the latch and deadbolt(if included)brackets that securely enters <br /> the jamb <br /> 7. Any additional sealant to the exterior can be added as deemed <br /> necessary by the installer to complete their installation requirements. <br /> 8.
