DEPARTMENT OF CODE ENFORCEMENT <br /> March 5, 2018 <br /> Zephyr Lodge 198 Free & <br /> Accepted Masons of Florida <br /> 5928 12th St <br /> Zephyrhills FL 33542-3624 <br /> RE; Failure to maintain property to community standards <br /> 5928 12th Street, Zephyrhills, FL 33542 <br /> Parcel ID: 11-26-21-0010-02100-0190 (Card: 001 of 001) <br /> Code Enforcement requested that your property be brought up to the standards <br /> adopted by the City of Zephyrhills according to Ordinance #§ 7.07.02 General <br /> Standards. <br /> After investigating a complaint located on the property addressed: 5928 12�'Street <br /> Zephyrhills FL 33542, the following violations were found, unpermitted fence, <br /> blocking alley for sanitation pick up and fence is not allowed inside the CRA <br /> district. <br /> (A) Fences, walls or hedges shall not be permitted within any city, county or <br /> state rights-of-way. Fences, walls or hedges shall not be permitted within an <br /> easement granted to the city except by approval of City Council. Any structures <br /> erected or plants planted in violation of this section are subject to removal by the <br /> city and in no case shall the city be liable for removal,restoration or compensation <br /> costs. Any damage to a city-owned utility caused by fence or wall installation shall <br /> be repaired by the city at the expense of the property owner, including any sodding <br /> that may be necessary. <br /> (B) All fences to be build shall comply with the Standard Building Code. The <br /> posts of each fence must be resistant to decay, corrosion and ternute infestation. <br /> Each fence or wall erected pursuant to this section shall be of uniform construction <br /> and properly maintained and in no case shall a fence or wall either be erected or <br /> maintained in such a manner as to degrade neighborhood amenities or reduce <br /> surrounding property values or maintained in such a state of disrepair so as to pose <br /> a hazard. <br /> (C) All fences and walls must be constructed of new materials.Walls and fences <br /> shall not contain substances such as broken glass, spikes, exposed nails or similar <br /> items designed to inflict injury or pain. Barbed wire is prohibited in all zoning <br /> districts except LI, C-3, C-2, AP-2 and ER. <br />
