INIT. i - My Building Department requires a Final Inspection be scheduled on a business day and I must be present. The Department offers no time slot, if I call them the day of,they might have more info. [NIT. OZZ: If I am not present when the Inspector arrives at my home, my Building Department can issue a fine as high as$80.00 or v more. I am also informed that the inspection will NOT be able to be rescheduled until I pay any such fine in full. Not completing an inspection could cost in excess of$1,000.00 and, I the home owner, am solely responsible to satisfy any and all costs and fines, INIT. If I cause a 'Red Tag', I will have ONE (1) day to clear the 'Red Tag', if I do not, Window World will clear it and I the home owner,will be liable to pay the full amount of any fine plus$149.00 acquisition fee to clear'Red Tag'. INIT. I acknowledge and understand I am responsible to remove any and all obstructions from openings including, but not limited to:Awnings, A/C Units, Shutters, Blinds, Curtains and the associated hardware, Landscaping, Furniture, etc...and there will be a fee assessed on a per item basis if not moved prior to window installation. INIT. I acknowledge and understand there are no"start times"for the installers to arrive at my home. Weather conditions, traffic situations and mechanical failure are real possibilities. Logistics also are a factor for production. If it rains the day of my installation, or a few days prior to my scheduled installation,the job may start later in the day or need to be rescheduled. It is protocol for the installer to call upon proceeding to my home. I will leave my entire day open for the installation of my windows. INIT. I acknowledge and understand the delivery and installation time is approximately five to (8) eight weeks, however, most jobs are installed in less than (8)eight weeks,very few have taken longer than (9) nine weeks. Jobs involving Special Shapes, Wood Grain Laminate, Laminated Glass, Tempered Glass, and Impact Windows WILL have longer lead times. If a window is broken, it will take an additional 5-7 weeks. INIT. I acknowledge and understand the balance is due upon installation - NOT Inspection -and the warranty is activated upon balance due being paid in full. In the event there is a broken window or error in configuration or etc.... I understand any and all discrepancies will be corrected and covered under the warranty. [NIT. I acknowledge and understand the scope of work to be accomplished by Window World is listed on the Window World Window and Patio Door Contract in its entirety. Absolutely no other work will be performed unless specified in writing on the Window World Window and Patio Door Contract. This includes, but is not limited to, moving obstructions,fixing existing damage, etc... ]NIT. I acknowledge my sales representative informed me that I MUST contact my energy provider IMMEDIATELY to determine my eligibilty for any credits. It is solely MY responsibility to solicit my Energy Provider for all program requirements and forms and fill them out. INIT. I acknowledge and understand the NFRC Rating Stickers MOST remain on all windows until my Building Department has PASSED the final inspection on the windows. I must retain ALL NFRC Rating stickers. INIT. I acknowledge the Estimator has given me a copy of the'What Happens Next' sheet. I also acknowledge I have read and understand all items on this sheet, and the Estimator has explained each item to me. INIT. Acknowledge by initialing (1) ONE of the following (5) FIVE options: I acknowledge I am NOT in a Wind Borne Debris Region or I RESIDE IN A Manufactured Home. NIT. I acknowledge I AM in a Wind Borne Debris Region and am opting for Impact Windows, INIT. I acknowledge I AM in a Wind Borne Debris Region and am opting for the 25% Rule. INIT. I acknowledge I AM in a Wind Borne Debris Region and Window World is providing Hurricane Protection, INI'T. I AM in a Wind Borne Debris Region and I am NOT getting impact windows nor is Window World supplying Hurricane Protection. I am required by my building department to have Hurricane Protection that meets current building codes and it must be ready to use at the actual Inspection in order to pass. Furthermore, I acknowledge and fully understand my windows will NOT be installed until the Hurricane Protection that meets all current building codes has been installed and is ready for inspection. If the Hurricane Protection does NOT pass the inspection, I will have (3) Three business days to comply or I will be charged 1. -the fine amount plus 2. -$149.00 plus 3. -"$125.00 per window for plywood hurricane panels, or, $500.00 per window for Diamond Screen, at Window World's sole discretion dictated by opening size and anomalies,to install appropriate Hurricane Protection.
