Unique Air Inc.'conducts quality control inspections and sets up a time with customer to perform this task. <br /> Usually we complete this quality control inspection on the day of install. <br /> 2. Upon completion of the installation,Unique will contact you for a date and time to give to the Building <br /> Department Inspector's office for performing their final Inspection to close the permit. <br /> 3. It the Permit is not closed within the 6-month period allowed by law,we will have to apply for a new <br /> permit at a cost of up to$200.00,which will be the customer's responsibility to pay. <br /> Completing the final inspection in a timely manner benefits you from Incurring any additional costs associated with the <br /> installation of your new unit. <br /> Customer Signature below denotes customer has read these instructions and understands their responsibility to schedule <br /> the final inspection when contacted by Unique Air or the Building Department. <br /> SARASOTA COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY: <br /> ---When we have completed the installation of your new A/C unit,the final inspection by the Building Department will need to <br /> be either scheduled or waived. Without the County/City's final inspection an open permit will remain on your property <br /> which can create a problem when selling or refinancing your home'and it is possible you would have to secure a <br /> County/City Inspection to close the permit at the time of a sale or refinance. <br /> In order to comply with County regulations,you need to either waive the final Inspection or arrange a time to complete the <br /> final inspection. If you choose to have a final inspection completed,you will need to be available for either a <br /> morning or afternoon to allow the County/City access to the residence. We will perform a quality inspection of the <br /> work and are confident our work is in keeping with County/City code for AC installations. A final inspection by the county's <br /> inspector also deals with detecting any code violations and insuring any deficiencies have been corrected. The <br /> County/City Planning and Development Services wish to advise that any undetected or unresolved code violations could <br /> result in unsafe conditions.
