This <br /> approval is also limited to areas and/or installation sites <br /> which do not experience greater than 150 MPH, EXPO wind loads <br /> as defined in the 2017 FBC. Town Homes must certify comp- <br /> liance of the home with these referenced specifications. <br /> In addition to. the above limitations, the following pars- <br /> meters must be satisified: <br /> (1) The carport must be designed by others to insure the <br /> carport supports and transmits loads to the ground to <br /> prevent applying loads to the mobile home greater than <br /> those specified in the referenced calculations (i.e. , 166 <br /> PLF MWFRS uplift wind force and 195 PLF downward gravity <br /> load)._ The carport cannot have a depth exceeding 1$'-0" <br /> with its roof framing connected to the mobile home's <br /> 'carport beam' (the 'carport beam' is a 2x6 SPF beam <br /> �baea�a installed near the top of the sidewall for the connection <br /> of the carport roof framing to the home) in a manner not <br /> o transmit more than 6.5' of roof load (tributary distance) <br /> �0•� °,.• •.ot�i � to the sidewall. The connections of the carport to the <br /> t0�•o N.- <br /> mobile home and the carport's structural systems must be <br /> �• °• `�'f designed by the carport designer. <br /> No.3384 q m <br /> m , o (2) The carport can only be connected.to mobile homes <br /> with 6" maximum save overhangs and sidewall heights <br /> n ° <br /> aS�/� <br /> s o" 7 OF a not exceeding 9'-0".
