<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCII{ OF THE CITY OF
<br /> ZEPHYRHILLS,FLORIDA,LEVYING THE MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL
<br /> YEAR 2020-2021 FOR THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, has timely advised the
<br /> Pasco County Property Appraiser's office that it proposed to levy a millage rate of 6.35 mills,which
<br /> is more than the rolled back rate of 6.0925 computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(1) by
<br /> 4.23%; and 1

<br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhilll,Florida did on September 14,2020
<br /> conduct a Public Hearing and a second Public Hearing on September 28, 2020, and following the
<br /> second Public Hearing, did adopt a tentative budget'of Sixty Million Four Hundred Eighty-
<br /> Seven Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Three Dollars an'd No Cents ($60,487,293).
<br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhill ,Florida did advertise on September
<br /> 24, 2020,its intent to adopt a final budget and millage,rate d ng a Public Hearing held September
<br /> •
<br /> 28, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhi ls, Florida, did after receiving input
<br /> from the general public, adopt a final budget of Sixty Mil ion Four Hundred Eighty-Seven
<br /> Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Three Dollar's and No Cents ($60,487,293). NOW
<br /> THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida,
<br /> sitting in regular session that:
<br /> 1. The millage rate to be levied for ad valorem taxes within the municipality of the City
<br /> of Zephyrhills for the 2020-2021 fiscal year shall be 6.35 mills, said rate has not
<br /> changed.
<br /> 2. r .This Ordinance shall become effective upo passage on the second reading and
<br /> signing by the Mayor.
