RESOLUTION NO. 783-21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 578-07 ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS. WHEREAS, SECTION 21.07 of the Charter of the City of Zephyrhills,provides that City Council may,by Resolution fix compensation for its members,provided that the compensation of members of City Council shall not be changed so far as to effect an increase for any member for the term to which that member has already been elected; and WHEREAS, SECTION 32.04 of the Charter of the City of Zephyrhills,provides that City Council may, by Resolution fix compensation for the Mayor, provided that the compensation of the Mayor shall not be changed so far as to effect an increase for the Mayor for the term to which he or she has already been elected. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, 1. That compensation for the members of City Council shall be fixed at Seven Thousand, Two Hundred Dollars ($7,200.00), per year, payable semi-annually with a Three Thousand, Six Hundred Dollar payment. 2. That compensation for the Mayor shall be fixed at Seven Thousand, Two Hundred Dollars ($7,200.00), per year, payable semi-annually with a Three Thousand, Six Hundred Dollar payment.' 3. Compensation paid to the Mayor or City Council members pursuant to this Resolution shall not affect an increase for the Mayor or any City Council member for the term to which that member has already been elected.
