After <br /> reviewing the plans and the field conditions it was determined that the following framing <br /> alternatives would be acceptable: <br /> FB1=Composite-beam-configured-with-(4)2x8-S-Y-.P-.#2-with,Y2'i plywood-flitch-plates <br /> reinforced with 1-3/4" x 7-1/4" LVL attached to each side of the:beam for a total width of <br /> 10.5". The plies are to be attached together with Y" diameter thru bolts with lock nuts <br /> and washers spaced at 12"o.c. maximum and 6" from each sidejof the support.
