RESOLUTION NO.322 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE ZEPHYRHILLS HISTORICAL PRESERVATION ADVISORY BOARD, AND REPLACING RESOLUTION NO. 242. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, deems it of great importance that the history of Zephyrhills be preserved for posterity, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, has concluded that it is necessary to establish a board of concerned citizens to advise the City Council on acts that the Council can take to preserve the rich history of the Zephyrhills community. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, that: 1. ESTABLISHMENT AND COMPOSITION: The City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, does hereby establish the Zephyrhills Historical Preservation Advisory Board. The Zephyrhills Historical Preservation Advisory Board shall be comprised of nine (9) members. City residency shall not be a condition for membership. However, members shall reside within a five (5) mile radius of the City of Zephyrhills. A member of City Council may serve as liaison, incident to his or her office. Of the voting members, one (1) member of the initial Board of Historical Preservation shall be appointed from the Zephyrhills Historical Association, Inc., existing at the time of this Resolution. All members of the Board shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council and shall be appointed by Council at large, and may be removed at any time by majority vote of the Council at regular or special session, called for said purpose. 2. TERM OF MEMBERS: Members of the Zephyrhills Historical Preservation Advisory Board shall serve for overlapping terms of two (2) years. All appointments shall be for overlapping two (2) year terms. 3. VACANCIES: Any vacancy occurring during the unexpired term of office of any member of the Board shall be filled by City
