REMOVE ALL EXISTING FINISHES AS NECESSARY TO PREPARE FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND FINISHES <br />INCLUDING REMOVING CARPETING, RESILIENT FLOORING, ETC. AND REPAIRING AND PREPPING <br />SUB -FLOORING TO A CONDITION APPROPRIATE TO INSTALLATION OF NEW FINISHES. <br />4. ALL EXISTING STRUCTURE, FINISHES, OR MATERIALS DESIGNATED TO REMAIN SHALL BE PROTECTED <br />DURING DEMOLITION. BRACE/REINFORCE EXISTING STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS AS REQUIRED TO ENSURE <br />STRUCTURAL STABILITY. <br />5. ALL EXISTING BUILDING COMPONENTS DESIGNATED TO REMAIN OR TO BE REINSTALLED SHALL BE <br />PATCHED, REPAIRED, OR REFINISHED TO MATCH UNDAMAGED SURROUNDING AREA IF DAMAGED <br />DURING DEMOLITION. PREPARE EXISTING WALLS, FLOORS, ETC. TO REMAIN FOR NEW FINISHES. <br />6. ANY VOIDS OR PENETRATIONS IN EXISTING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE PATCHED AND FILLED TO <br />MAINTAIN BUILDING ENVELOPE. NOTIFY ARCHITECT BEFORE ANY REPAIRS ARE MADE. REPAIRS ARE TO <br />BE MADE TO ACCEPT NEW FINISHES. <br />7. THE DEMOLITION WORK IS NOT LIMITED TO ITEMS SPECIFICALLY NOTED FOR REMOVAL BUT SHALL <br />INCLUDE ITEMS RELATED TO AND NECESSARY FOR REMOVAL SO AS TO PROVIDE A COMPLETE <br />PROJECT. <br />8. PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY DUST BARRIERS TO ENSURE A SAFE AND SANITARY ENVIRONMENT. <br />BARRICADE AND GRAFICS IS AT TENANTS EXPENSE. TENANT CONTRACTOR MUST PROVIDE PER MALL <br />SPECS. TENANT SHALL CONSTRUCT A BARRICADE 18 FT. WITH 4 FT. POP -OUT WITH ONE DOOR PAINTED <br />WITH GRAPHICS PER MALL SPECS. WHERE DEMOLITION WOULD AFFECT THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE BUILDING; THE <br />CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY SUPPORTS. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF <br />ANY FIELD CONDITIONS WHICH WOULD PRESENT A HAZARDOUS CONDITION TO THE STRUCTURE OR <br />ITS OCCUPANTS BEFORE PROCEEDING. DO NOT PERFORM ANY SCHEDULED STRUCTURAL <br />DEMOLITION UNTIL MEANS OF SUPPORT APPROVED BY STRUCTURAL ENGINEER IS INSTALLED. <br />11. PRIOR TO DEMOLITION, REMOVE WALL FINISHES, INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR FOR POSSIBLE <br />STRUCTURAL MEMBERS IN THE EXISTING WALL REQUIRING FURTHER BRACING. A FORMAL <br />STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE HAS NOT BEEN PERFORMED AND ARCHITECT IS <br />NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR EXISTING STRUCTURE IN ANY WAY. <br />12. INFORM ARCHITECT OF ANY CONCERNS PRIOR TO DEMOLITION OR CONSTRUCTION FOR <br />EVALUATION AS REQUIRED. <br />13. SALVAGEABLE PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS WILL REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF THE OWNER., <br />PROTECT FROM DAMAGE, DISPOSE OF ITEMS AT OWNER REQUEST. <br />14.
