<br />If a registered termiticide formulated and registered as a bait system is used for subterranean termite prevention,
<br />Sections R32011 through R32016 do not apply; however, a signed contract assuring the installation, maintenance and
<br />monitoring of the baiting system for a minimum of five ears from the issue of the certificate of occupancy shall be
<br />provided to the building official prior to the pouring o . the slab, and the system must be installed prior to final building
<br />approval. If the baiting system directions for use require a monitoring phase prior to installation of the pesticide active
<br />ingredient, the installation of the monitoring phase components shall be deemed to constitute installation of the system.
<br />GLAZING SECTION R308
<br />R308.1 Identification,
<br />Except as indicated in Section R30811 , each pane of glazing installed in hazardous locations as defined in
<br />Section R308.4 shall be provided with a manufacturer?s or installer?s label, designating the type and
<br />thickness of glass and the safety glazing standard with which it complies, which is vislbte in the final
<br />installation. The label shall be acid etched sandblasted, ceramic -fired, embossed mark, or shall be of a
<br />type which once applied cannot be removed without being destroyed.
<br />Exceptions:
<br />1. For other than tempered glass, labels may be omitted provided the building official approves the use
<br />of a certificate, affidavit or other evidence confirming compliance with this code,
<br />2. Tempered spandrel glass may be identified by the manufacturer with a removable paper label.
