Framing Layout Notes: <br />REVISIONS <br />NO DATE Di SCRIPTION <br />1 Framing layout drawn by Daniel M. Ossman Drafting Service, Inc. is a schematic <br />representation only. It is the responsit4liiy of the General Contractor to make a field <br />inspection to verify "ALL" existing field conditions including accuracy in dimensions with <br />proposed plans. General Contractor "MUST" certify in writing (the time and date) that <br />this field inspection was conducted on and submitted to truss manufacture. If this field <br />inspection was "NOT" done prior to giving said plans to the truss manufacture, then the <br />"GENERAL CONTRACTOR WILL BE HELD LIABLE FOR ALL COST OF ANY / ALL <br />MISTAKES" on pre-engineered trusses that are constructed for said project. Daniel M. <br />Ossman Drafting Service, Inc. "WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE" for errors made on any <br />framing (floor or roof) truss layouts. <br />2 Upon receiving said plans from the General Contractor ... the truss manufacture <br />"MUST" make a their "OWN" field inspection to "DOUBLE CHECK" ati existing fit <br />conditions, roof sk>pes, overhangs, and dimensions prior to the manufacturing of any / all <br />trusses. Truss manufacture "MUST" certify (the time and daite) that this field inspection <br />was conducted on by their company. This certification must be given to the General <br />Contractor in writing prior to the manufacturing of any / all trusses on said project. <br />3 All thickened slabs / footing on foundation plan are located according to the schematic <br />truss layout drawn by Daniel M. Ossman Drafting Service, Inc. Only truss manufacture <br />can change these locations due to truss bearing points and "MUST" notify General <br />Contractor of these changes as soon as possible. <br />4 All hurricane truss straps specified on said project are to be used unless otherwise <br />specified by truss manufacture. All hurricane straps specified are "Simpson Strong Tie" <br />( or equal ), unless noted otherwise. Only truss manufacture can change any / or all <br />truss straps that are specified on truss layout drawn by Daniel M. Ossman Drafting <br />Service, Inc. These documents shall be provided by the truss manufacture at time of truss <br />delivery and approved by the building official prior to the installation of the roof truss. <br />(See code section items 1-13). <br />6 This plan as indicated is diagrammatical in nature for permit and contract purposes only. <br />Any revisions as required by the truss company's engineer as indicated on truss company's <br />sealed drawings shall superseded this drawing. This also includes truss company's <br />specified hurricane and other anchors supersede one shown on this drawing. <br />7 If shingles are being used, shingles MUST comply with section 905.2.2, 905.2.4.1 and <br />table R - 905.2.6.1 for wind resistance, FBC residential code 5th edition (2014) residential. <br />8 CONTRACTOR, MUST COORDINATE WITH TRUSS MANUFACTURE FOR ALL VAULTED, TRAY, <br />FLAT AND OR OTHER CEILING TYPES.
