<br />UL Fire Resistance Directory and shall include the following constructior- features:
<br />A- Studs - Wall framing may consi--t of tither wood studs or steel charnel studs. Wood studs to consist
<br />of nom 2 by 4 in. lumber spaced i6 m- OC wit-ii nom 2 by 4 im lumber end plates and cross braces.
<br />Steel studs to be min 3-5.'3 in. wide and sp( red has 23 in. CC.
<br />B. Wallboard, Gypsum* - Thicknes3, type, number of layers and fasteners as required in the individual
<br />Wail] and Partition Design. Max diam of opening is 3- I12 in.
<br />The hourly F Rating of the firestop system is equal to the hourly fire rating of the wall assembly in which it
<br />is installed. The hourly T Rating is 3/4 and 1-1:4 hr is for 1 and 2 hr rated assemblies, respectively.
<br />2 Through Penetrating Products* - Flexible Metal Piping - Isom. 2 in. diarrl (or smaller) steel flexible metallic
<br />piping. Mae one flex metal piping to be installed either concentrically or eccentrically within opening- The
<br />annular space between piping and pc7phery of opening shall be min 0 (paint contact) in. to max 1 in. Piping to
<br />be rigid:y supposed on both sides of wall assembly. Plastic covering on piping may or may no: be removed on
