<br />edge and about.2-Inch up from the mrter shingle's exposed butt edge. For each fu.1.1 Cedar
<br />Crest shingle, please fasteners 8-5/8-inch up from its exposed butt edge and 1-inch from
<br />each side edge.
<br />Note: For ASTM D3161 - Class F, use BASF Sonolastic NP 1 adhesive or Henkel PL@
<br />Polyurethane Roof & Flashing Sealant to hand -seal Cedar Crest shingles. Apply NP I or PL
<br />adhesive from the, middle of the shingle's raised overfay on the top pilece and extending
<br />approximately 4-inch along the sides of the headlap along a line 3/4 to 1-inch from each side
<br />of the shingle's headlap. Immediatiely oJign and apply the overlying shingle, gently pressing
<br />tab sides into the adhesive, and Install nails. To secure the other side, appiy a 1-inch
<br />�diarrveter spotof NP 1 or PIL adhesive between the shingle layers.
