2. SCOPE OF EVALUATION
Structural Transverse Wind Loads and Large Missile Impact and Cyclic Wind Pressure Resistance. Since every
door size cannot be tested, engms wing analysis using a comparative analysis, as pennglod per the Florida
Product approval 9N3, were used to analyze the dose and make the wind loatl designs.
3. USES
The series number garage dbiws listed in Table i are used let residential and commercial applications with
speodied allowable design pressums.
4. DESCRIPTION
The Shies rwndear garage doers listed in Table 1 are smuohai overhead garage deers and are constructed of
galvanized steel sections with a two Coal polyester finish. The doors are two-inch thick, raised pared or gush,
with longue and groove se -turns. See table 2 for door designs and corresponding panel thicknesses. The
panels are 24 and 25 gage ASTM A653 galvanized FS Type B steel, and finished wish an ASTM A525 made up
of G-30 coaling. covered with two coats of polyester paint. Each section ,s reinforced with 16 or 20 gage end
stiles and 20 gage Bred center stiles.
