All doors and windows providing direct access from the home to the <br />pool shall be equipped with an exit alarm complying with UL 2017 <br />that has a minimum sound pressure rating of 85 db a at 10 feet. The <br />exit alarm shall produce a continuous audible warning <br />when the door or window are opened. <br />6. Bathroom exhaust fans must vent to the exterior of the building, <br />exhaust to attic space and soffits is not <br />acceptable. <br />7. R302.6 The garage shall be separated from the residence and it's <br />attic by not less than 1/2-inch(12.7mm) gypsum board applied to the <br />garage side. Garage beneath rooms shall be separated from all <br />habitable <br />rooms above by not less than 5/8 inch (15.9mm) type X gypsum <br />board or equivalent. Where the separation is a floor -ceiling <br />assembly, the structure supporting the separation shall also <br />protected by not less than 1/2 inch (12.7mm) gypsum board or <br />equivalent. <br />8.
