I
have reviewed the test reports, which were generated by accredited independent
i d
laboratories as required by 9N-3,005(4), the engineering rational analysis, an the
product drawings. The test reports are listed below, Testing was. conducted by
American Test Lab North Carolina and Hurricane Engineering and Testing Inc.
For the doors listed in the Tables below, Static Pressure Tests were conducted in
accordance with TAS 202, ASTM-E330 and ANSI/DASMA 108. Missile Impact and Cyclic
Pressure Tests were conducted in accordance with TAS 201 and TAS 203 and
ANSI/DASMA 115. The pressures listed on the drawings are either direct results of
these tests or results obtained through engineering rational analysis based on actual
tests. I have concluded that the door designs listed below in the Tables below are in
compliance with the High Velocity Hurricane Zone test requirements of the 2010 Florida
Building Code Sections 1715.5,3,1, 1625 and 1626 and therefore are qualified as
impact -resistant assemblies.
TABLE 1.: Drawings for doors with Manufacturing Product Code (MPC) PAN-2F153:
101702-Revll, max. door size 9'0" x 16'0", +42/-48 PSF (design load)
101309-Rev15, max, door size 16'2" x 16'0, +42/-48 PSF (design load)
101296-Revl4, max,. door size 9,01' x 16'0", +46/-50 PSF (design load)
TABLE 2: Drawings for doors with Manufacturic„Product Code (MPC) PAN-2F143:
1Q2621-RevQ7, max. door size 18,2" x 16'0 , +42/-46 PSF (design load)
103287-RevO4, max, door size 9'0" x 16'0", +54/-62 PSF (design load)
103547-RevO5, max. door size 9'0" x 16'0", +48/-54 PSF (design load)
101300-Rev16, max. door size 16'2" x 16'0" +46.6/-52 PSF (design load)
101706-Revl3, max. door size 9'0" x 16'0"; 4-62/-72 PSF (design load)
PC DS E-1F171:
Pr oduc t Cod e (MPC) I
i Manufacturing
for doors with
TABLE: Dr
awings s
g.
„
101703-Revll, max. oor size 9'0' x 16 0 +48J-60 PSF (design load)
101488-Revl3, max. door size 16'2" x 16'0", +46.6/-52 PSF (design load)
103028-RevO8, max, door size 18'2" x 16'0", +46/-50 PSF (design load)
TABLE 4 Drawings for doors with Manufacturing Product Code (MPC) DSIEO-1M479:
103436-RevO2, max. door size 9'0" x 16'0", +48/-60 PSF (design load)
103560-RevO4, max. door size 16'2" x 16'0", +46.6/-52 P5F (design load)
TABLE 5: Drawings for doors with Manufacturing Product Code (MPC) C-DSIE-lF447:
101705-RevO8, rnax. door size 12'2" x IW O", +52/-58 PSF (design load)
TA13LE 6: ©ra,.`,linCls for doors with Manufacturing Product Code (MPC) C-PAN-IE448:
102645--Rev07, rnax. door size 12'2" x 18'0'°, +50/-56 PSF (design load)
103288-RevO3, max. door size 14'2" x 18'0", +50/-56 PSF (design load)
W, Chipay
EVALUATION REPORT FOR CLOPAY BUILDINNG PRODUCTS COMPANY SECTIONAL GARAGE DOORS, W7 - LN9_-
Product Description for doors with MPC DSIE-1F171:
These doors consist of 2" double -skin insulated sections with an EPS core
laminated to both skins.
