<br />Assurance documentation changes. TrinitylERD requires a complete review of this Evaluation

<br />5.2 Vinyl Siding is limited to Type V construction
<br />5.3 Limitations relating to wind load resistance are outlined In Appendix 1.
<br />5.3.1 Unless otherwise noted, fasteners for vinyl siding are limited to min. 11/2" long (min. 3/4-inch
<br />penetration) x 0.125" shank diameter x minimum 3/8" head diameter galvanized roofing nails.
<br />5.3.2 Unless otherwise noted nails shall engage the stud framing members.

<br />5.3.3 Use of the wind load performance worksheets is limited to wall height less than or equal to 30
<br />feet on Category II, enclosed buildings. For buildings having conditions in excess of these
<br />parameters, a qualified design professional shall determine design pressures in accordance with
<br />FBC Chapter 16 on a project -specific basis for comparison to wind load resistance data In
<br />accordance with ASTM D 5206' and Annex Al of D 3679".
<br />5.4 All products in the wall assembly shall have quality assurance audit in accordance with the FBC
<br />and F.A.C. Rule 98-72.
<br />6. INSTALLATION:
<br />CertainTeed vinyl siding systems shall be installed in accordance with ASTM D 4756 "' and
<br />recommendations of the Vinyl Siding Institute1v, subject to the Limitations / Conditions of Use noted in
<br />section 5.
<br />7. BUILDING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
<br />As required by the Building Official or Authority Having Jurisdiction in order to properly evaluate the
<br />installation of this product.
<br />8. MANUFACTURING PLANTS:
<br />Contact the named QA entity for manufacturing facilities covered by F.A.C. Rule 96-72 QA
<br />requirements.
