The individual layers <br />shall be Installed independently such that each layer provides a <br />rate continuous plane and any flashing Intended to drain to <br />the water -resistive barrier is directed between the layers. The <br />barriers shall consist of one of the following. <br />1. Two layers of an approved water resistant barrier material In <br />accordance with R703.2. <br />2. One layer of an approved water -resistive barrier (paperbacked <br />stucco lath) over an approved synthetic house wrap, <br />R703.4 Flashing. <br />Approved corrosion -resistant flashing shall be applied <br />shingle -fashion in a manner to prevent entry of water into the wall <br />cavity or penetration of water to the building structural framing <br />components. Flashing shall be installed at the following locations. <br />• Exterior winclow/cloor openings. <br />• Intersection of chimneys or other masonry contructions with <br />frame walls. <br />• Under and at the ends of masonry, wood or metal copings <br />and sills. <br />• Continuously above all projecting wood trim. <br />• Where exterior porches, decks or stairs attach to a wall or <br />floor assembly of wood -frame construction. <br />At wall and roof intersections <br />At Built-in gutters. <br />Attic Ventilation <br />Attic Ventilation to be in compliance with the Florida Building Code 6th Edition <br />(2017) Residential R806. <br />The Minimum net free ventilating area shall be 1/150 of the area of the vented <br />space.
