<br />INFECTION CON ROL MEASURES:
<br />I. The Contractor shall obtain from the owner a copy of the Infectlon control risk assessment (ICRA) prepared for
<br />this project. The contractor shall review the requirements In this report and preform all work In
<br />accordance with those requlrements.The contractor shall strictly adhere to the llmlts of the construction area,
<br />and where phoslng applies shall adhere to the phasing plan. An work outside the construction are shall be
<br />coordinated with the hosplfol and preformed In accordance with the ICRA report, under the supervlslon
<br />of the hospital's representative or other designated ICRA committee officer.
<br />2. To the extent that it Is required by the ICRA the contractor shall endeavor to malntoln existing levels of
<br />Indoor air quality In areas surrounding and adjacent to the construction work zone and elsewhere In the
<br />focllity.It should be onticlpoted that the ICRA report will require measures to this et`fect Including erection
<br />of construction zone barriers and provIslons for negative olr pressure In the construction zone relative
<br />to other areas of the new focllity. Fallure to comply with construction and maintenance of construction barriers
<br />will result In the cessation of work untll the barriers are brought Into compliance.

<br />4. Any requirement for Interruption or shut down of utilities made necessary by this construction shall be
<br />coordinoted with the hospital at least one week prior to Interruptlon.
<br />5. Contractor shall endeavor to minimize any dIsruptlon of surrounding areas of the hospltol.
<br />6. If fire alarm and / or sprinkler systems are shut down for four (4) hours or more,
<br />contractor to provide 'Fire Watch'.
<br />7. If the structural steel flreproofing is damaged due to construction, then It shall be repaired
<br />to Its orlglnal fire rating.
<br />8. For short term above celling work outside of the phased construction barriers Contractor
<br />to provide a portable construction contolnment system as approved by the hospltol.
