<br />D. CONTRACTOR SHALLTHOROUGHLY INVESTIGATE SITE BEFORE BIDDING. NO CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED
<br />IN CONTRACT PRICE FOR WORK REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH EXISTING CONDITIONS.
<br />E. ALL ELECTRICAL WORK SHALL BE DONE IN A NEAT AND WORKMANLIKE MANNER.
<br />F. PROVIDE PHENOLIC NAMEPLATES ON ALL PANELBOARDS, SWITCHBOARDS, DISCONNECTS,
<br />TRANSFORMERS, ETC, INDICATING DESIGNATION, CIRCUIT NUMBER(S), VOLTAGE AND WHERE UNIT IS FED
<br />FROM. SECURE NAMEPLATES WITH AT LEAST TWO SCREWS OR RIVETS. CEMENTING AND ADHESIVE
<br />INSTALLATION IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
<br />G. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL EXAMINE ARCHITECTURAL, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND FIRE
<br />PROTECTION DRAWINGS FOR ESTIMATING AND CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PROJECT. SUBMISSION OF A
<br />PROPOSAL SHALL BE CONSTRUED AS EVIDENCE THAT SUCH EXAMINATION HAS BEEN MADE AND LATER
<br />CLAIMS FOR LABOR, EQUIPMENT OR MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR CONNECTING AND ENERGIZING
<br />EQUIPMENT SHOWN ON THOSE DRAWINGS WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED.
<br />ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COMMUNICATE DISCREPANCIES TO ENGINEER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A

<br />H. PROVIDE TEMPORARY POWER AND LIGHTING. INCLUDE PERMITS AND UTILITY COMPANY FEES FOR

<br />EQUIPMENT. BLANK FORMS ARE AVAILABLE FROM HOSPITAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
<br />5. COMPLY WITH FACILITY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT STANDARDS FOR EQUIPMENT / POWER PANEL/SYSTEM PANEL/
<br />DISCONNECT NAMEPLATING, PIPE LABELING, &VALVE TAGGING.
<br />6. MAKE CONNECTIONS TO EXISTING SYSTEMS AT APPROVED TIMES MINIMIZING DURATION OF INTERRUPTION TO
<br />EXISTING SERVICES. OBTAIN WRITTEN APPROVAL FOR TIME & DURATION OF A SCHEDULED SHUTDOWN FROM
<br />FACILITY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
<br />7. COMPLY WITH FACILITY POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND INFECTIOUS CONTROL. COORDINATE
<br />WITH FACILITY.
<br />8. FACILITY SHALL SUBMIT COPIES OF THEIR CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS AND INFECTIOUS CONTROL RISK
<br />ASSESSMENT TO AHCA FOR REVIEW.
<br />9. FIRE ALARM AND SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEMS SHALL ALWAYS BE ACTIVE. HEADS MAY BE COVERED DURING HOURS
<br />OF CONSTRUCTION BUT THE COVERS SHALL BE REMOVED AT THE END DAY. IF THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE, THEN INSTALLA
<br />FIRE WATCH TILL THESE SYSTEMS ARE ACTIVE.
<br />10. IF THE FIRE ALARM OR SPRINKLER SYSTEMS IS OUT OF SERVICE FOR ANY EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME (I.E. GREATER
<br />THAN FOUR HOURS) THEN A FIRE WATCH SHALL BE INSTALLED. SEE NFPA 101 ITEM 9.6.1.8 AND 9.7.6.
<br />11. DOCUMENT THE TYPE OF FIREPROOFING METHOD BEING UTILIZED ON THE STRUCTURAL FRAME FOR THESE AREAS
<br />UNDER RENOVATION, (I.E. SELF PROTECTING, SPRAY -ON FIRE PROOFING, OR MEMBRANE).
<br />A. SELECT THE FIRE RATING FOR THE SPRAY -ON FIREPROOFING FOR TYPICAL ULASSEMBLY (I.E. COLUMNS AND
<br />BEAMS) IN CASE PATCHING IS REQUIRED.
<br />B. IF A FIRE RATED MEMBRANE IS BEING EMPLOYED, DOCUMENT ITS UL LISTED ASSEMBLY.
<br />12, NO ITEMS OR MATERIALS SHALL BE STORED IN THE EXIT DISCHARGE OR PATH TO THE PUBLIC WAY.
<br />13. THE EXIT ACCESS CORRIDOR SHALL REMAIN OPEN AND ACCESSIBLE AT ALL TIMES.
<br />14. ANY DAMAGE FOUND TO EXISTING WALLS, SHALL BE REPAIRED TO THEIR ORIGINAL FIRE RESISTANT CONDITION.
