GENERAL NOTES:
<br />1. DEMOLITION PLAN SHOWS APPROXIMATE LAYOUT OF EXISTING BUILDING AND IS NOT
<br />INTENDED TO REPRESENT "AS -BUILT" CONDITIONS. G.C. IS REQUIRED TO VISIT SITE
<br />AND BECOME FAMILIAR WITH ACTUAL CONDITIONS WHEN BIDDING THE WORK.
<br />2. PRIOR TO ANY DEMOLITION WORK, CONTRACTOR MUST FIELD VERIFY ALL EXISTING
<br />MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL WORK LOCATED IN THE TENANT SPACE
<br />WHICH AFFECTS THE ADJACENT TENANT SPACES. THE LANDLORD AND THE
<br />ADJACENT TENANTS MUST BE NOTIFIED PRIOR TO SHUTDOWN OF ANY SHARED
<br />MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. 72 HOUR NOTICE REQUIRED.
<br />3. INTERIOR WALLS, PARTITIONS, DOORS, FRAMES, AND OTHER ITEMS WILL BE
<br />REMOVED BY LANDLORD. GC TO COORDINATE WITH SHELL DRAWINGS.
<br />4. LANDLORD TO REMOVE ALL INTERIOR CEILINGS, SOFFITS, LIGHTING, ETC
<br />THROUGHOUT THE SPACE UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED TO REMAIN. GC TO
<br />COORDINATE WITH SHELL DRAWINGS.
<br />5. EXISTING CONSTRUCTION SHOWN TO REMAIN INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
<br />WALLS, PARTITIONS, DOORS, FRAMES, ETC. SHALL BE PROTECTED DURING
<br />DEMOLITION. DAMAGE TO EXISTING CONSTRUCTION SHOWN TO REMAIN SHALL BE
<br />RESTORED TO MATCH PRE -DAMAGED CONDITION.
<br />6. PROTECT FROM DAMAGE ALL EXISTING FINISH WORK TO REMAIN IN PLACE AND
<br />WHICH BECOMES EXPOSED DURING DEMOLITION OPERATIONS.
<br />7. PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY SHORING, BRACING, AND SUPPORT TO PREVENT
<br />MOVEMENT, SETTLEMENT, OR COLLAPSE OF STRUCTURE OR ELEMENT TO BE
<br />DEMOLISHED, AND ADJACENT STRUCTURE OR ELEMENT SHOWN TO REMAIN.
<br />SHORING AND BRACING SHALL BE DESIGNED BY CONTRACTOR'S PROFESSIONAL
<br />ENGINEER LICENSED IN THE APPLICABLE JURISDICTION.
<br />8. PROVIDE TEMPORARY WEATHER PROTECTION AND SECURITY DEVICES DURING
<br />INTERVAL BETWEEN DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF EXISTING CONSTRUCTION ON
<br />EXTERIOR SURFACES AND INSTALLATION OF NEW CONSTRUCTION TO ENSURE THAT
<br />NO WATER LEAKAGE OR DAMAGE OCCURS TO STRUCTURE OR TO INTERIOR AREAS
<br />OF EXISTING BUILDING.
<br />9. EXISTING CONCRETE FLOOR SLABS, MASONRY WALLS AND EXISTING STRUCTURAL
<br />FRAMING SYSTEMS SHOWN TO BE REMOVED SHALL BE CLEANLY SAWCUT FROM
<br />EXISTING CONSTRUCTION. COMPLETELY REMOVE FOOTINGS, FOUNDATIONS AND
<br />ABOVEGROUND AND UNDERGROUND CONSTRUCTION.
<br />10. WHERE FINISHES ARE SHOWN TO BE REMOVED FROM EXISTING CONSTRUCTION,
<br />REPAIR AND PATCH REMAINING SUBSTRATE AND PREPARE FOR NEW FINISH. REPAIR
<br />AND PATCH ALL REMAINING SUBSTRATES THAT WERE ORIGINALLY CONCEALED BY
<br />EXISTING FINISHES, BUT WILL NOW BE EXPOSED IN THE NEW CONSTRUCTION.
<br />11. SALVAGE MATERIAL AS REQUIRED FOR PATCHING AND INFILL (SEE DRAWINGS FOR
<br />NEW WORK). SALVAGE MATERIAL SHALL BE CLEANED AND STORED IN AREAS AWAY
<br />FROM THE DEMOLITION OR UNTIL NEEDED,
<br />12. ALL INFILL OR REPLACEMENT WORK SHALL MATCH EXISTING CONDITIONS IN
<br />MATERIALS, CONSTRUCTION AND FINISH, UNLESS SPECIFICALLY NOTED ELSEWHERE
<br />IN THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.

<br />REGARDING THE RESULTS OF THIS INFORMATION. BOTH NEW AND EXISTING
<br />CONCRETE SLABS MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 4 INCHES THICK AND PASS SUITABILITY
<br />TESTS FOR TILE INSTALLATION (I.E., UNIFORMLY TESTED AT 1 TEST PER 1000 SQUARE
<br />FEET OF AREA, NO TEST MAY EXCEED THE ALLOWED LIMITS OF 5 LBS OR LESS PER
<br />1000 SQUARE FEET FOR CALCIUM CHLORIDE TESTING; ALKALINITY TESTING NOT TO
<br />EXCEED A PH OF 9; AND, NO FAILURE ON 72-HOUR BOND TESTS). NOTIFICATION OF
<br />SUCH TESTING IS TO BE GIVEN TO THE ARCHITECT -OF -RECORD AND TO THE ROSS
<br />CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE. A CERTIFIED REPORT OF EACH TEST RESULT IS
