HVAC NOTES <br />1. All equipment is new, air handlers located on steel channell, supported from deck above with concrete deck anchors. <br />Bottom of plenum box of return held 2" off bottom of stand with emergency condensate drain pan extending out 3" on all <br />four sides with emergency overflow shut down switch on condensate overflow mounted on emergency pan. <br />2. rectangular ductwork to be 1.5" fiberous duetboard, Joints to be sealed with pressure sensitive "UL" 181 silver tape and <br />staples as recommended by manufacuterer. Round ductwork to be R-6 flex duct using silver tape, "UV 181 and nylon panduit <br />straps at Crown dampened collar. <br />3. All duct sizes are clear inside dimensions, allow for 1.5" R-6 fiberglass ductwork. <br />4. Rectangular ductwork to be hung with 2" u-channel & minimum 12-gauge wire on 6' centers and flex duct to be hung with 2" <br />metal strap on 5' centers and at elbow down to air distribution as needed. All duct materials and installation of same to comply <br />with section 503 of Florida Energy code for Building Construction effective March 1, 2002, <br />5. Smoke detectors shall be installed in return duct to shut down system, located prior to introduction of ventilation outside air. <br />6. Coordinate location of air distribution with ceiling grid and lights. <br />7. Contractor test and balance of systems to within 10% of design airflows shown and submit air balance report and equipment <br />performance to owner upon completion. <br />g.
