Bd. or equivalent applied <br />to the interior side of exterior walls that are within this area. <br />R312.2.1 Window Sills. <br />In dwelling units, where the opening of an operable window is <br />located more than 72 inches above the finished grade or surface <br />below, the lowest part of the clear opening of the window shall be <br />a minimum of 24 inches above the finished floor of the room in <br />which the window is located. Operable sections of windows shall <br />not permit openings that allow a 4-inch-diameter sphere where <br />such openings are located within 24 inches of the finished floor. <br />Chapter 45 Private Swiming Pools, Section R4501.17.1.9 <br />All doors and windows providing direct access from the home to <br />the pool shall be equipped with an exit alarm complying with UL <br />2017 that has a minimum sound pressure rating of 85 db a at 10 <br />feet. Any deactivation switch shall be located at least 54 inches <br />above the threshold of the access. Separate alarms are not <br />required for each door or window if sensors wired to a central <br />alarm sound when contact is broken at any opening. <br />M1 507.2 Recirculation of Air. <br />Exhaust air form Bathrooms and toilet rooms shall not be <br />recirculated within a residence or to another dwelling unit and shall <br />be exhausted directly to the outdoors.
