This single family dwelling is to the Ith Edition (2020) FEBC (Florida Building Code) type
construction requirements. Construction shall comply with local County and state agencies.
2. All openings around walls, partitions, pipes, ducts, conduits etc-, shall be sealed fully
and sound proofed with sealants of type for application.
3. Painting.. All surfaces shall be properly prepared and cured to manufacturer's
instruction prior to painting. Paint shall be "first line" produced by PORTER, SHERWIN
WILLIAM5, or equal with colors selected by the owner. All painted surfaces shall be
painted with materials appropriate for the application in a workmanship manner to the
paint manufacturer's instruction.
4. Caulk all exposed joints. Clean, prime, caulk and seal all ,joints between door and
window frames with DOW CORNINCs silicon of type for application. Use foam back-up
rods as required at wide joints. Use acoustical foam sealants by DAP or TREMCO at
sound proofing applications at openings or cracks.
5. Energy Code - These plans where designed with common design practices. However, this does not
guarantee that this plan will pass the "Florida Energy Code". These plans shall be reviewed by a
proper HVAC professional and shall pass the "Florida Energy Code" or recommendations from such
Professional shall be provided to the Home Designer (Corner Stone Design Group, Inc.) so as to
meet such requirements.
2"X4" Vertical Brace
2319. 17. 1. 2
Where a ceiling is to be attached directly to the underside of trusses,
the trusses shall be laterally braced with continuous 1-inch by 4-inch
(25 mm by 102 mm) members nailed with 8d common nails to the upper side
of the bottom chord at panel points but not to exceed 10 feet (3 m)
apart. This lateral bracing shall be restrained at each end and at
20-foot (6 m) intervals. Drywall may be considered a rigid ceiling in
enclosed areas where it is protected from the elements.
