UniSpec II- Store Planning 090105 <br />SECTION 01312 - PROGRESS MEETINGS <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 PRE -CONSTRUCTION MEETING <br />A. A pre -construction meeting will be held at the project site prior to beginning work at a time designated by the <br />Owner. <br />B. The Wal-Mart Construction Manager, Contractor's Project Manager, Contractor's Superintendent, and major <br />subcontractors shall be present. <br />C. The following shall serve as a minimum agenda: <br />1. Construction schedule. <br />2. Critical work sequencing. <br />3. Designation of responsible personnel. <br />4. Processing of field decisions and changes to the Work. <br />5. Walk-through inspection and field determination of scope of work and verification of Construction Docu- <br />ments. <br />1.2 PROGRESS MEETINGS <br />A. Scheduled progress meetings at the job site are required. <br />B. The Wal-Mart Construction Manager, Contractor's Superintendent and major subcontractors (as appropriate to the <br />agenda) shall be present. <br />C. The purpose of these progress meetings is to review the schedule of the Project for the next 2 weeks. The <br />following shall serve as a minimum agenda: <br />1. Field observations, problems and conflicts. <br />2. Problems that may impede construction schedule. <br />3. Review of delivery schedules. <br />4. Coordination of schedules of different trades and delivery of Owner -furnished products and materials. Co- <br />ordination with Wal-Mart Additional Subcontractors and their scope of work. <br />5.
