A Tank Closure Assessment will be performed in <br />accordance with Florida Administrative Code (FAC) Rules Chapter 17- <br />761 and 17-770. <br /> <br />The underground steel tanks with associated piping and ancillary <br />equipment will be removed. A Storage Tank Notification [Form 17- <br />61.900(3)] listing the tank is attached for your review. <br /> <br />An organic Vapor Analyzer (OVA) screening will be performed at the <br />time of tank removal to identify any "excessively contaminated <br />soil" All soil exceeding the fuel oil 50.0 ppm recommended <br />guideline standard (FAC Chapter 17-770) will be removed under an <br />Initial Remedial Action (IRA). The IRA will involve excavation, <br />stockpiling, loading, transportation, and thermal treatment of any <br />petroleum product contaminated soil. All soil will be hauled by <br />DOT licensed vehicles to a FDER permitted rotary kiln soil <br />remediation unit. <br /> <br />The following agencies will be notified and necessary permits <br />obtained: <br /> <br />* City of Zephyrhills-----Building Department <br />* Pasco County, EHS----Tank Removal Notification <br />* State of Florida, FDER Tampa, Storage Tank Notification <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br />>------. <br /> <br />------r-r~ ex, {J~ <br /> <br />Thomas A.
